The Valey Cultural Centre is located in a central urban context of Piedras Blancas, opposite the Town Hall square, establishing a direct relationship with public space and the daily life of the municipality. The building is conceived as a facility open to citizens, capable of bringing together different cultural expressions and collective activities in a single place.

The architecture is organized around an urban passageway that crosses the building and connects the different parts of the complex, becoming an intermediate space between the street and the interior. This route structures the entrances and gives continuity to the public space, while distributing the different uses of the programme: exhibition rooms, cultural spaces, administrative areas, and a large auditorium dedicated to performing arts and collective gatherings.

The project understands culture as an element of urban relationship and transformation, creating a building capable of adapting to multiple activities. The interior spaces are visually connected and encourage interaction between users, generating a place where architecture supports creativity, participation, and the social life of Piedras Blancas. The Valey thus becomes a new reference point for the municipality, integrating city, culture, and community.
