The building for the new IES de La Corredoria is developed across five superimposed and terraced levels, adapting to the sloping topography of the site, which descends towards the northwest. The overlapping of several platforms with a sinuous envelope generates different types of spaces: open, enclosed, rain-protected, or uncovered, according to the different requirements of the programme.

The exterior envelope is shaped by the setbacks from the boundaries, through a composition formed by three stepped volumes together with a sports court located on the inner platform. The connections between the different volumes take place along the main northwest-facing façade, where the building entrances are located and where the common areas are arranged, including the entrance porch and lobby, the gymnasium, the library, and other shared spaces.

The main entrance to the building is through a large covered porch. Four circulation cores are designed: a main one with a staircase and lift, and three secondary cores with the corresponding staircases that connect the different levels.
