In a residential development lacking clear references, the house becomes an introspective entity focused on its own interior spaces, creating a refuge detached from its immediate surroundings.
The house draws inspiration from the landscapes of León, being constructed in exposed coloured concrete mixed with the characteristic stone of the region, Boñar stone.
Strategically placed openings in the concrete walls allow natural light to enter, creating a dynamic play of shadows and reflections that evolves throughout the day. These openings are carefully positioned to frame views of the sky and the surrounding context without compromising interior privacy. As natural light filters through these voids, it enhances the texture of the concrete and adds an additional layer to the interior atmosphere.
