The passageway at the El Cristo Campus in Oviedo is conceived as a transitional public space that strengthens the connection between the university buildings and their urban surroundings. Through a composition of clean lines, continuous paving, and integrated seating elements, the intervention organizes pedestrian movement while enhancing accessibility and social interaction.
The design combines functionality and spatial quality through the careful integration of street furniture, landscaping, and mineral surfaces. The result is a calm and contemporary environment that enriches the pedestrian experience and reinforces the campus identity as an open, connected, and welcoming place.
